AU TERME DE CE BILAN si le diagnostic d’apnée obstructive du sommeil est posé, un bilan complet va rechercher d’éventuels facteurs de risque ou complications, en particulier :

♦ bilan métabolique : cholestérol, diabète, etc…

♦ bilan cardio vasculaire à la recherche de troubles du rythme et de modification de la pression artérielle

♦ bilan pneumologique

♦ bilan orthodontiste

EN PRATIQUE COURANTE c’est bien souvent un ronfleur qui consulte et on va rencontrer deux situations :
